Ariana Grande - My Everything

[English version]

I've cried enough tears to see my own reflection in them
And then it was clear
I can't deny
I really missed him
To think that I was wrong
I guess you don't know what you got 'til it's gone
Pain is just a consequence of love
I'm saying sorry for the sake of us

He wasn't my everything 'til we were nothing
And it's taking me a lot to say
And now that he's gone, my heart is missing something
So it's time to push my pride away

'Cause you are, you are, you are my everything
You are, you are, you are my everything

I know you're not far, but I still can't handle all the distance
You're traveling with my heart,
I hope this is a temporary feeling
'Cause it's too much to bear without you
And I know sorry ain't the cure
If I cross your mind, just know I'm yours
'Cause what we got is worth fighting for

'Cause you were, you were my everything 'til we were nothing
And it's taken me a lot to say
And now that you're gone, my heart is missing something
So it's time to push my pride away

You are, you are, you are my everything
You are, you are, you are my everything
You are, you are, you are my everything

Saya minta maaf demi kita

Dia bukan segalanya bagiku sampai kami bukan apa-apa lagi

Kaulah, kaulah, kaulah segalanya bagiku

Kaulah, kaulah, kaulah segalanya bagiku
Kaulah, kaulah, kaulah segalanya bagiku
Kaulah, kaulah, kaulah segalanya bagiku

[The meaning of the song]

This song tells about her regret over a break up. "He wasn't my everything 'til we were nothing," when she had a relationship with a man, she considered that he's nothing. But when she broke up with him, she's really sorry. She thought that he isn't my everything 'til they're nothing.

DEWEY - Kucing Perpustakaan Kota Kecil yang Bikin Dunia Jatuh Hati

Original Title :
Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World
Author : Vicki Myron dan Brett Witter
Translator : Istiani Prayuni
Editor : Mita Yuniarti dan Anton Kurnia
Publisher : Serambi Ilmu Semesta
Publish : I, Oktober 2009
Pages : 400 pages
REVIEW
Dewey's origins were questionable as was his introduction to library director Vicki Myron. January 18, 1988 was a frigid Monday in Spencer. "It was a killing freeze, the kind that made it almost painful to breathe." When Vicki arrived at the library that morning her assistant told her she had heard a noise coming from a metal slot, the library's after-hours drop box behind the building. Soon, they both heard the noise and thought it was an animal. The opening of the box was only a few inches wide, so whatever it was had to be very small. Being metal the box was even colder than it was outside, and there in a corner of the box was a tiny kitten.

It was the most pitiful thing she had ever seen, so thin she could see every rib, and she could feel its heart beating, its lungs pumping. "The poor kitten was so weak it could barely hold up its head, and it was shaking uncontrollably. It opened its mouth, but the sound which came two seconds later, was weak and ragged." But one look into his big eyes and she was Dewey's and he was hers.
Dewey was not the only one who had endured hardship - Vicki was a single mom who had lost the family farm and survived an abusive husband. The people of Spencer were going through tough times during the farm crisis of that time. Depression, ennui seemed to be everywhere.
Nonetheless, Vicki was determined to capture the interest of those who came to the small library and hopefully make them a little happier. With the help of Dewey she did that and more. For 19 years he returned the affection of the townspeople twofold, amusing them, enchanting them, rubbing against many hands in gratitude for their caresses.
What difference can one small animal make? Dewey's story spread across state lines and even around the world. In 2003 Japanese Public Television filmed Dewey, and his obituary ran in well over 200 newspapers.
His story will warm your hearts, make you laugh and cry.

Jurnal Internasional Mengenai Ekonomi Koperasi

COOPERATIVE RESEARCH PAYS OFF FOR THE ECONOMY

AGRICULTURE has been the biggest beneficiary of the government funded Cooperative Research Centre program, according to a new report on its economic and other impacts.
The estimated direct economic impact on the sector is $6.15 billion, which takes in the 21 year life of the program so far, and projections to 2017, according to the report by The Allen Consulting Group launched last night by Tertiary Education Minister Chris Evans.
The estimate for the services sector is $5.7bn, for mining is $1.5bn and for manufacturing is $1bn.
It also gauged the educational value of the CRC program as measured by the number of research postgraduate students it has supported, which is about 4400 between 1991-92 and 2009-10.
Based on Insight Economics estimates from 2006, which assigned a premium of about $37,000 per annum for each research postgraduate in Australia, the total is $163 million.
The HES reported yesterday that the headline figure from the impact analysis was a three dollar return for every dollar of taxpayers money invested. It estimated the economic and other impacts of the program totalled $14.5bn, including $8.6bn from 1991-2012.
There are currently 37 CRCs but there have been 190 over the life of the program, which has received $3.4bn in federal government funding.
The report also estimates that the CRC program has contributed about 0.03 percentage points of GDP annually over its life.
CRC Association chief executive Tony Peacock told the HES the study contained "some really important lessons''. "The long-term nature of CRC collaboration is a key factor in achieving such good impacts,'' Professor Peacock said.
"That's something we should try and extend to every part of the Australian innovation system whenever it is practical. Secondly, planning for impact works -- end users of research know what they want and their input increases impact.''
He said the CRCs were getting better at delivering high-impact research. "It is no wonder that the UK, Taiwan, Sweden and South Africa have set up or are setting up similar programs,'' he said.

Adverb Clause

Adverb Clause consists of 2 words, which are 'Adverb' (adverb word which tells verb and adjective) and 'Clause' (subordinate clause). So, Adverb Clause is a subordinate clause that tells verb and adjective that functions as adverb. The general formula of Adverb Clause is: subject + predict + conjunction + subject + predict. For example: I hugged my mother when she was coming back.

Adverb Clause consists of 8 kinds, those are:
  • Clause of Time
Clause that shows time. It usually uses conjunction such as: after (the sum of people starving is increasing after the food price rose), before (he saves his money for live saving before his baby born), while (food price is rising while so many people are starving), as, no sooner, etc..
  • Clause of Place
Clause that shows place. It's usually made by using conjunction such as where (he goes to market where sells his merchandise for my life), somewhere (I'm going somewhere to work), nowhere, somewhere, etc..
  • Clause of Condition
Clause that shows that there's a regulation between 2 related incidents. It's usually made by using conjunction such as if (if the fuel price rising is cancelled, they may stop demoing), even if (even if so many people are starving, the food price is still rising), if only (they may stop demoing, if only the fuel price rising is cancelled), suppose, supposing, in case, etc..
  • Clause of Reason
A subordinate clause that is used for showing cause or reason. Adverb Clause of Reason begins with conjunction such as since (since he has so many debts, her economic life is getting harder), because (because her father gets a job again, her economic life isn't hard anymore), whereas, as, etc..
  • Clause of Manner
Clause that shows the way how a work done or an incident happens. It usually uses conjunction such as how (he's thinking about how the way to overcome the rising of fuel price), as, like, etc..
  • Clause of Purpose and Result
Clause that shows the relation of purpose and the result. It's usually made by using conjunction such as: so that (he saves his money in bank so that he can buy a new car), in order (they go to work by bicycle in order to overcome the rising fuel price), in the hope that, etc..
  • Clause of Cause and Effect
Clause that shows the relation of cause and effect. (she's starving that she can't buy food, his economic life is getting harder that he lost his job).
  • Clause of Contrast/Concession
Clause that shows that there's a conflict between 2 related incidents or events. Usually made by using conjunction such as: even if (even if the food price is rising, I still need it), although (although the fuel price is rising, I still need to buy it), as the time, whereas, etc..
